Hanshi and Yu joined the SEEDS lab

Two Ph.D. students have joined the SEEDS lab. Ms. Hanshi Chen will pursue her Ph.D. in the Intercollege Graduate Degree Program in Ecology, focusing on understanding vegetation phenology. She worked as a research assistant at the Chinese Academy of Science before joining Penn State. Ms. Yu Wei joins the lab as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management and will work on forest biodiversity using combined LiDAR and hyperspectral data. Yu has a very strong remote sensing background and obtained her bachelor and master degree from Wuhan University. Welcome, Hanshi and Yu!
